Not everyone who can teach gets the chance. We're here to change that. The Aakar Educators Fellowship (AEF) is a flagship initiative designed to identify, train, and launch passionate, purpose-driven individuals into the world of transformative teaching.
AEF exists for those who know their subject, have a fire to inspire, but haven't had the tools, mentorship, or platform to teach. Through this fellowship, we aim to build the next generation of impactful educators who will help redefine how students across Nepal — and beyond — learn.

Eligibility Requirements
Be enrolled in or have completed education beyond +2/high school
Have strong communication skills and the ability to break down complex ideas simply
Be excited about teaching, learning, and community empowerment
Be available for a two-week, in-person training at Aakar HQ in Kathmandu
Your AEF Journey
AEF Bootcamp (2 Weeks)
An intensive, hands-on training focused on:
Paid Probation (6 Months)
After completing the bootcamp, fellows begin their teaching journey with us as probationary faculty members, delivering real classes across our platforms (live and on-demand).
Career Path & Permanent Placement
Those who demonstrate excellence during probation are offered permanent roles within the Aakar faculty, with access to growth opportunities, mentorship, and advanced training.
After the Fellowship
AEF alumni have the opportunity to:
Teach thousands of learners through Aakar's digital platform
Co-design new learning experiences, curricula, and tools
Mentor incoming fellows and grow as educational leaders
Contribute to research, podcasts, and pilot programs within Aakar

Application Process
We're accepting applications on a rolling basis. Applications will close once the cohort is filled.
Step-by-Step Application Process:
Submit Application
Submit the form with all required details and documents.
Group Discussion
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a Group Discussion Round.
1-on-1 Interview
Selected participants from GD will move on to a personal interview.
AEF Admission
Final candidates will be offered admission into the AEF Bootcamp.
